Senior Scada Engineer Job in Vanderlande Industries

Key Responsibilities:

• SCADA System Development: Develop software for a standardized visualization library and project-specific modules using SCADA technologies like WinCC OA, Ignition, Wonderware, and others.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with internal customers, teams, and, occasionally, external customers to ensure project success. Participate actively in the definition phase of projects.
• Configuration & Deployment: Create project configurations and deploy components across both factory and site environments. Ensure proper deployment and integration of components.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix issues as they arise during the project lifecycle. Ensure smooth operation of deployed systems.
• Testing & Integration: Prepare, build, and configure test environments. Execute integration, system, and acceptance tests in the factory and on-site.
• Stakeholder Support: Provide support within the project team and assist external stakeholders as needed. Offer input for test and integration plans.
• Documentation & Reporting: Contribute to requirements management, change management, and version control. Maintain test management tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Experience with higher-level programming languages such as C, C++, C#, PHP, or Java.
• Database Technology: Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Control System Interfaces: Knowledge of interfaces to control systems (Siemens, AB, OPC, Modbus, IEC, SNMP).
• IT Technologies: Understanding of generic IT technology, such as Active Directory (AD), XML, Real-Time systems, and HTTP(S).
• SCADA & Control Systems: Familiarity with SCADA systems (Siemens, Schneider Electric, etc.) and control systems (PLC).
• User Interface & Web Technology: Affinity with user-interface programming and web technologies.
• Testing Processes: Basic knowledge of test processes and an interest in multidisciplinary environments.
• Tools: Experience with requirements management, change management, version control, and test management tools.
• Soft Skills:

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 9 to 15 years of professional experience in SCADA systems, software development, and project execution.
