Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ongoing review of SLAs and MTTx metrics
  • Identify process gaps and areas of improvements basis metrics, help project team to continuously improve
  • Establish process and work with project teams to understand the ongoing changes going to production
  • Review SOP s along with project teams and provide guidance for improvements
  • Work closely with Program Lead and conduct thorough analysis of issues/alerts RCA and recommend any improvements
  • Review knowledgebase articles periodically with project team and recommend improvements
  • Experience in driving and responding to NOC (Network Operation Centre) team calls to understand and improve the process
  • Expertise in building application monitoring Dashboards, help project teams in building such dashboards

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

  • 12-14yrs of overall experience, with 5yrs relevant experience in managing support projects for US enterprise customers in 24 7 engagement model.
  • Prior development experience in any technology is mandatory. This role is very dynamic and there will be lot of on-the-job learning. Suitable candidate should come with open mindset and be willing to learn new tools, process, techniques, especially related to Cloud (Multicloud). He/She should be able to work with internal stakeholders from teams across projects/accounts and customer teams (for proposals, solution/design discussions, critical to this engagement).
  • This role is technical role and requires candidate to have in-depth expertise of various tools used for application and infrastructure monitoring (both on-prem and cloud).
  • Ideal candidate should come with engineering mindset to automate, think of NoOps world, where automation is the key to solve problems in application and infrastructure monitoring.
  • This is not a traditional support lead role to run the business-as-usual, this role requires you to come with a mindset to challenge the status-quo and bring efficiencies by way of creating automation recipes.
  • Tools (not exhaustive): Dynatrace, AppInsights, Splunk, Remedy, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), PowerShell, Sonar
  • Technology (not exhaustive): Microsoft .Net, Java, Oracle, SQL Server, ESB, Azure/AWS PaaS, IaaS, API gateway and integrations

Pre-Sales and Solutioning:

  • Support pre-sales effort- scoping, proposal, estimations, RFB, RFPs
  • Propose design and solution, creating topologies
  • Provide technical support to project teams during project delivery
  • Monitor and review current processes/solution/design and recommend solutions. Present to customer manager/director

Technology focus:

  • Have worked on supporting Microsoft/Java technology projects-based running in hybrid environment in 24 7 engagements
  • Thorough understanding of the technologies, Tools and Platforms Microsoft Azure, AWS, .Net, Java, Dynatrace, AppInsights, Splunk, Remedy, ServiceNow. Not limiting to these toolsets, learn on-the-job, do PoCs, attend demos and pickup knowledge on new tools as required
  • Comes with engineering mindset not traditional ITIL processes cloud services and on-premPrior web development experience is mandatory. Should have good experience in Web development for enterprise customers
  • Very good understanding of application architecture (hybrid cloud infrastructure)
  • Ability to understand complexities of applications, topology and architecture and gain meaningful insights for application/infrastructure monitoring.
  • Provide technical leadership
  • Thorough understanding of the Application neighborhood and interdependencies in a typical enterprise client environment (hybrid cloud wit legacy applications in mainframe, Java and .Net, cloud native applications/services)
  • Create automation recipes, identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Identify and guide the team in implementing automation solution and tools for production support. Own such implementations take end-to-end responsibilities
  • Identify technical skill gaps, work with project team to bridge the skill gaps, take ownership to drive such initiatives
  • Experience individual, have a good technical know-how, to efficiently troubleshoot issues and guide the team
  • Experience creating and maintaining Runbooks to provide guidance to project teams
  • Prior experience using Microservices will be added advantage
