Job Summary

Job Description

FP&A:

Ownership of Group FP&A month-end process and streamlining current reporting capabilities

Prepare and distribute Group Financial KPI's to understand the performance of the business

Consolidation of month end submissions at both client and region levels and liaising with regional finance teams/commercial finance teams to ensure accuracy of data submitted

Developing and maintaining processes and procedures to support the commercial finance teams.

Developing and maintaining system documentation and workflow processes.

Produce and communicate monthly forecasts to internal and external stakeholders with key movements explained against Budget and prior forecasts

Support the Group FP&A Director with key initiatives to help transform FP&A Globally. This includes working with businesses so that we can collectively take FP&A to the next level in terms of capabilities, lean processes, better access to data/insights.

Provide timely, accurate and insightful information that acts as a catalyst for business decisions for the commercial team

Functional reporting analysis of departmental performance against budget and lead internal calls with Head of Departments

Supporting FP&A Director during the annual budget and planning process

Monthly preparation of Group Board packs with appropriate commentary including telling the story

Interpreting performance metrics against expectations, the past or industry standard

Building and reviewing financial models including but not limited to scenario planning, client analysis, balance sheets, and working capital requirements

Integration of new business acquisitions into current FP&A reporting structures

Onboarding of new planning and reporting tool (SAC)

Undertake Ad-hoc analysis and review as requested

Reviewing the work completed by FP&A Analyst and provide timely feedback on their performance

Support the learning and growth of finance analyst



Requirements

Person Specification

Fully qualified accountant or similar qualification/experience

At least 5 years financial experience with FP&A experience (preferred)

Experience working in a shared service environment reporting to senior management board (preferred)

Extensive financial modelling & analysis skills along

Experience of managing staff in previous role (desired not essential)

Strong technical acumen including working knowledge of relational database management systems, report automation expertise, advanced Excel (power query/VBA, advanced lookups, pivots, Power BI), and MS Access

SAGE X3/SEI experience desired not essential.

Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to identify and communicate insights, opportunities, and trends from complex data sets

Honest, accountable and self-driven - comfortable working under time pressure and willingness to, where necessary, adopt a sleeves rolled-up approach

Good communication skills, presence and challenging style

Ability to demonstrate an energetic partner orientated approach

An innovative thinker with the potential to grow with the business

A positive can-do attitude with strong intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mentality

Strategic thought leadership a big-picture view while executing functional requirements
