Position Overview As an embedded SOC Sr. Engineer/Lead engineer for model based development, you will be responsible for the embedded software development of automotive vision software and supporting functions enabling Automated Driving Assistance Systems on state of the art multi-core automotive SoCs. You will be responsible for various features involving model-based software development methodology including automatic code generation with the tools Statemate and Matlab Simulink. Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities: Creation of a roadmap and definition of quality and efficiency goals for model-based software development in the field of ADAS software Implementation of the model-based software development methodology including automatic code generation with the tools Statemate and Matlab Simulink according to customer requirements Execution of Model in the loop, Software in the loop and back to back testing Troubleshooting in the model and the target hardware with different debugging techniques Technical leadership of employees at other locations on the topics of model-based software development Measurement and control of efficiency indicators Education/Training Education: Completed B.E/B.Tech/M.S/M.Tech studies in the any disciplines for software development Professional Experience Essential Experience : Expertise on tools like JIRA, DOORS, SVN, Git, CoreALM, Matlab simulink, Targetlink, Embedded tester, MXAM, MXRAY ASPICE working knowledge is a plus. Experience on Klockwork is a plus. Highly Desirable Experience : 5-12 years of professional experience in the field of embedded software and model-based software development with Statemate and Matlab Simulink Experience in the (technical) management of development teams Strong intercultural openness and willingness to travel Very good knowledge of spoken and written English Assertiveness, high communication skills, initiative and organizational talent Key Competences (Transversal/Professional) Competence Level (Beginner, Skilled, Master) Matlab & Simulink, MBE model and code generation tools Master Statemate or similar tools Master Software/System Debugging, Problem Solving skills Master Automotive knowledge Master Software/System Design, Software Architecture, Optimization Master Project timelines/budget management Beginner People allocation/management Beginner Team development/mentoring Beginner/Experienced
