Job Summary
- Develop and execute Software Test Plans for the Web and Smartphone [iPhone /Android/Windows Mobile] and deliver quality products in a timely manner.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Create / maintain databases of known test defects.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Follow standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
- Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as usability, system, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
- More than a year of experience in testing, with exposure to automated testing.
- Experience working with Selenium.
- Experience in testing Smartphone Applications, a huge plus.
- Skilled at Testing Applications end-to-end.
- Experience of working in an agile environment is desirable.
- Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactively conduct research into emerging technologies and trends related to the web and mobile.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Good communication skills.
