Job Summary
Job Description:
- Experienced in Linux (Redhat/Centos, Debian/Ubuntu) servers.
- Should have experience working with live web servers(web hosting industry), Apache, MySQL, hosting control panels
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hosting control panel(Cpanel, Plesk)
- Knowledge in virtualization technologies(Openvz/Xen/KVM)
- Familiarity with control panels for managing virtualization(Solusvm, PVM)
- Kernel compilation and tweaking
- Shell scripting
- Software compilation and installation from source
- Package management(yum, apt-get)
- Service management(init, upstart, systemd)
- Log management
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Firewall management(iptables, csf)
- Good understanding of networking concepts and IP allocation
- Excellent communication skills
