Job Summary

Ability to create designs for print as well as digital media collateral. Knowledge of motion graphics is must. Complete the requirement within the estimated efforts and meet or exceed the expected level of output quality.

Qualification:

Fine Arts background will be preferred

Experience:

8-12 Years (eLearning will be preferred)

Skills:

  • Fluency in current graphic design practices and web/print production software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, and Corel Draw.
  • Proficient in developing/creating animations/motion graphics using Flash/Animate, After Effects or similar software.
  • Good understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory, and typography in digital and print media.
  • Good design style, including creative design solutions.
  • A decent understanding of UX and web design principles.
  • WordPress knowledge and expertise as an additional good to have skill.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and Development

  • Establish the look and feel for various marketing interfaces like website, blog, email campaigns, and social media .
  • Design user-centered wireframes or screen mockups for website, microsites, website and landing pages, and blog as needed.
  • Own design for collateral like eBooks, whitepapers, case studies, data sheets, and infographics.
  • Design logos, icons, presentations, newsletters, emailers, social media images, advertisements, and event graphics.
  • Video design and development, developing animations and illustrations.

User Experience Management

  • Ensure that all marketing collaterals and touchpoints including the website and blog, deliver impeccable user experience.
  • Ensure that all our designs adhere to brand guidelines and make use of graphic styles, fonts, layouts etc. that help maintain consistency in communication.
  • Work collaboratively with other designers and developers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.

Website Management and Email Marketing.

  • Own and manage all website updates and operations.
  • Developing emailers, newsletters, and landing pages.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the latest web applications an best practices through study and research.
  • Optimization of the website for maximum speed, scalability, and usability.
  • Developing or validating website test routines and schedules to ensure that test address all browser and device types.
  • Identifying problems uncovered by feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

Team Management and Development

  • Supervise and lead a team of graphic designers and web developers.
  • Coach and mentor team members as needed. Assist them to choose the right style, attractive graphics, images, and other visual elements to adapt them according to the objectives of the project.
  • Ensure team is trained on new tools and required skills as needed.
  • Delegate job responsibilities among team members and oversee that quality work is being completed within specified deadlines.

R&D and Market Insights

  • Keeping a track of new design and UX developments in the market. Staying on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the visual design field.
  • Leveraging creative and marketing knowledge to develop new creative campaigns for specific targets and suggest new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issues.

As the design manager, you will be expected to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and you should be able to juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations.
