JOB SUMMARY:

UPL is seeking an IP Analyst that will cater to the increasing requests for IDF/novelty search from different regions and will assist the team to perform thorough patent/NPL checks for advancing projects that are bound by strict timelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting patent searches and analysis of prior art disclosures.
• Conducting in-depth patentability analysis for products, processes, compositions, uses, technologies for various territories/jurisdictions of formulation and biological products.
• Novelty search for IDFs received from scientists/stakeholders.

REQUIRED EDUCTION & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Masters in Pharmacy/M.Sc. (Agriculture) or Chemistry
• Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice (Preferred)
• Experience in conducting patent searches and analysis of prior art disclosures.
• Knowledge in patent/NPL database searches(Preferred)
• Conducting in-depth patentability analysis for products, processes, compositions, uses, technologies for variousterritories/jurisdictions of formulation and biological products
• Strong analytical skills
