Position Overview:As an Inside Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in harnessing business opportunities throughproactive conversations, relationship-building, and delivering effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Management: Identify and qualify potential leads from various channels.2. Oversee the CRM system for effective lead management and reporting.3. Sales Execution: Reach out to potential students, understanding their educational needs,and suggesting suitable courses. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to align sales strategies.5. Share insights and feedback from clients to the product team, aiding in course improvementand creation.6. Sales Training & Development: Assist in training new inside sales representatives, ensuringthey are well-versed with upGrad s offerings.7. Continually enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry understanding to drivesales performance.8. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships withpotential and existing customers. Ensure smooth transition of customers from the salesphase to the onboarding process.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.2. 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the Edtech or E-learning industry.3. Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with clients.4. Proficient in CRM software and other sales-enhancing technologies.5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.6. Ability to multitask and manage multiple leads simultaneously.7. Understanding of the Indian education landscape will be an advantage.
