What success looks like in this role:

Job description

Applies software or systems engineering methods and techniques to the design, development, integration, qualification and/or support of products and tools within one or more limited but developing areas of expertise. Works independently or cooperatively as a member of a team under the direction of the project team leader or manager.

Primary Skills -

• C/C++,System Programming Working knowledge (Advanced level) on

• System level knowledge on Unix/Linux/windows and expert in OOAD.

• Strong programming experience on C/C++ and related technologies

• Excellent Knowledge on Firewall & VPN, Networking and Internet Security
• Team player & Communication(Written & Oral)
• Kernel programming or Socket programming. or File Systems

Secondary Skills -

• MMC Snap in
• Cryptography, AES security
• Basic knowledge on technologies such as Assembly language, DCAlgol, JavaScript and Delphi. Knowledge in all the above technologies is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• 2-5 years of experience within a product organization with high level expertise in a specific solution/technology
• Good communication skills
• Should have worked on full product lifecycle
• Proficient in the use of Diagnostic Tools
• Strong on design, implementation and problem solving skills
• Fix defects in bounded areas of code.
• Fix simple problems, complex problems with assistance.
• Handle engineering support in bounded product areas. Expedite resolutions.
• Collaborate effectively in virtual teams.
• Participates in Innovation activities by commenting and generating ideas as part of a team.
• Willing to learn Unisys Proprietary languages like DCAlgol

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications

Education:

• Computer Science/EE undergraduate degree, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience within a software or systems engineering organization with high level expertise in a specific solution/technology.
• Understand Product Life Cycle management in a systems engineering environment, with focus on agile methodologies.
• Ability to work in a global team, with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographical regions
• Ability to communicate task, requirements, design information with clients
• Knowledge of Engineering Concepts
• Proactive, analytical and capable of influencing and providing decision support
• Team Player, leader and mentor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over English language
