Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for prototype building, functional test, type test, verification and validation. Resource requirements and execution plan for development from concept to production Product development for electric drives and railway drives (DC-AC inverters, AC-AC and DC-DC converters). Actively involved in development engineering tools/processes to improve operational efficiency continuously. Creating requirements, design specifications, requirement mapping and relevant system interfaces. Defining system architecture / block diagram, selection of system components and defining their interfaces. Creating PCB and PCBAs design specifications, generating test protocol, board bring-up and test reports. Integration of hardware and software at device and system level. Active involvement in product qualification for safety feature (Safe-Torque-Off) for electric drives by TUV, Germany. Solutions for lead-free assemblies, tin whiskers and conformal coating. Providing component alternates, validation, reviews, change requests and final release. Contribute in improving the time to market for the products and solutions with utmost focus on quality. Monitors progress and achievements on projects, ensures technical reviews and expert resolution of issues. Capable of supporting and sustaining a positive work environment that fosters team performance. Project management, project plan, budget, cost, quality, report, reviews and resource management. Responsible for managing and delivering hardware development. Training, instructing, supporting, mentoring and monitoring team s work. Requirements: In Depth understanding of electronics/power electronics product design, development and engineering. Experience in Complex High speed System/Product Design that includes System Architecture Design, Hardware Design, PCB Design , SI , EMI , Testing , with extensive experience in full life cycle of Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Test platform Design Experience on architecting and designing of Networking, Telcomm systems, Telematics , Consumer Electronics and IOT and high speed board design. Proficient with electronic circuit design (analog and digital), schematics, BOM and PCB layout guidelines. Proficient in proactively identifying and resolving problems. Good to Have: 2 years of experience in EV/ Robotics Global Cross functional Team Handling. Experience in implementing SCRUM for hardware development. Experience in hardware design providing innovative and cost effective solutions for new product development. Experience in engineering projects for cost reduction, enhancements, value engineering and sustain engineering. Experience using simulation tools like LTSpice, PSpice, TI-TINA, Simplorer, MATLAB and OpenModelica. Aware of PDLC, FSM, FMEA, risk assessment and CE marking qualification for inverters and converters. Experience & Knowledge of EMI / EMC Testing. Preparing FMEA & FRS/HRS based on MRS & PRS, Design Documents with Design Calculations. Experience in using the JIRA tool for project management. Experience in complete product development life cycle, which involves conversion of customer requirements to product, Design and development, Prototyping and performance validation. Experienced in firmware development with expertise in C programming, Linux, Python, MATLAB. Understanding of Railway PLC (RaPLC) application software development (IEC61131 PLC programming standard) for VCU / TCMS. Understanding of Product development of control electronics unit for electric railways and DEMU (Diesel Electric Multiple Unit).
