Description
As a Quality Analyst for UKG, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for the high-quality testing of our new integrations for UKG Ready product. In this role you will be responsible for various Quality and Testing activities including testing methodologies and theories, test plan development, test case design, test execution practices, data collection, and root cause analysis techniques, as well as the reporting and documenting practices required.
Also work with the internal integration project team to improve and enhance the QA process and as well provide inputs to the others phases in the realm of integrations
The role would require maintaining flexibility in work schedule and have overlap with US time zone to connect with internal teams and as well joint meetings with customers and vendors

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, implement and execute a test Plan, based on the inputs provided in Integration Synopsis document.
Contribute to the complete testing lifecycle, test cases, test data and test functions as part of the execution of a broader test strategy.
Make regular updates in JIRA, for reporting of bugs and other activities.
Provide proactive status on all projects on a weekly basis.
Participate in manual test plan and test case development
Provide input in methodology and process improvement to help improve and enhance the team s best practices and processes
Daily activities include performing tests, results analysis, root cause identification of problems, and reporting.
Recognize problems that need further investigation, seek assistance when needed, and demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
Determine and develop approach to solutions for a wide range of difficult problems, write precise and concise bug descriptions
Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
Solid software testing, troubleshooting, and analysis skills
Proven understanding of software systems, software applications and the process required in producing product deliverable required

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 4-5 years of experience
Experience working for a Cloud company and/or having worked in a similar role in product implementation team.
HR/Payroll/HCM/TLM/WFM domain experience strongly preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, quick learner, results driven orientation
Retain and apply knowledge gained effectively
