Information Technology - Cloud - Technical Architect Job in Ugam

Role Description:

Architect a VPC environment and enable DevOps practices. This role requires expertise in working on a cloud platform, preferably AWS. The person will help in validating to meet security and compliance controls, and provide operational support to the Engineering Team & excellent problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the overall VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, VPN.
• Enable DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, automated (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Bitbucket pipeline etc.
• Design the HA / DR strategies.
• Validate the environment to meet necessary security and compliance controls.
• Provide operational support to the Engineering Team & excellent problem solving skills.
• Participate in planning sprints, platform roadmap discussions. Maintain document and diagram to support existing platform and systems.

Qualifications/Certifications

• Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science or Information Technology

What are we looking for?

• 2 to 5 years of experience as an Architect, on a cloud platform, preferably on AWS.
• Experience with hardware architecture, and understanding the full technology stack.
• Expert in managing, provisioning various AWS Services, including S3, EC2, Redshift, RDS, R53, EMR, Athena Data Pipeline etc.
• Excellent knowledge of building and managing the Kubernetes, Docker containers.
• Expertise in deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform, Cloud Formation etc.
