Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop new insights, advanced modeling techniques, and capabilities in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
- Identification and sourcing of relevant internal and external data sources for machine learning, deep learning, other cognitive computing methods, and artificial intelligence.
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and tracking of its performance
- Exploratory analytics to identify trends, patterns, or process drivers.
- Create a proof of concepts & blueprints to enable data-based insights and science and shape the company s strategy.
- Propose data-driven product features and strategies to solve business challenges
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience in Data Science, with at least two years in the banking domain
- Proficiency in handling big data, data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
- Scripting and programming experience in Python and query languages SQL and Hive
- Experience in using AWS services like Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR would be a plus
- Working knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques such as clustering, regression, classification, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks
- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Masters in a quantitative field, Ph.D. highly preferred in a related discipline (e.g. Applied Mathematics, Computer Science)
