Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking to welcome onboard passionate, aspirational and skilledCompetency Development Manager(s)to drive development of competency based learning courses in varied areas of Retail, Sales, Marketing, Production Engineering, New Product Development etc.

The role forms a critical part of theTVS Institute for Quality and Leadership (TVS-IQL), which is the Corporate University of TVS Motor Company and associate companies within the group. TVS-IQL is situated in a 75 acres lush-green campus at Anekal near Bangalore.

TVS-IQL obtained certification toGlobal CCU (Global Council of Corporate Universities)in Oct 2018.

TVS-IQL is driven by the vision To be the hub of powerful learning solutions and an environment to evolve people, culture, strategy, processes and ecosystem towards sustained global leadership of TVS Motor and group companies in a fast changing & connected world .

TVS-IQL is responsible for supporting change and transformation of people, culture and processes towards institutionalizing learning for individual and collective contribution towards future challenges.

In order to achieve TVS-IQL s vision, multiple academies of excellence have been set up, three of which are below:-

• Academy for Manufacturing Excellence(1 position)
• Academy for Product Development andTechnologies Excellence(1 position)
• Academy for Retail Excellence(1 position)
• The Competency Development Manager will be responsible for:-

• Analyzing learning needs using effective means and methods.
• Co-creating learning courses through structured application of IDM (instructional design methodology).
• Following structured project management practices to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyzing learning effectiveness and carryout corrective actions as appropriate.

The Competency Development Manager will posses:-

• 3-5 years of work experience in New Product Development / Production Engineering / Manufacturing / Sales & Marketing functions.
• Passion for working in Learning & Development domain.
• Good understanding of project management.
