Job Summary

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You have expertise in building scalable and reliable multi-server solutions
  • Designing and implementing databases
  • Knowledge about the best technologies to use to solve problems
  • You have the ability to evaluate what works best and what doesn't
  • Have confidence and the ability to make correct decisions
  • You have a quality-centric approach and are not satisfied with solutions that 'just works" but strive to create the best solution possible
  • Continuous communication and highly developed teamwork skills are a must
  • Experience working with report building tool or BI tool e.g. Stimulsoft
  • Experience working in .Net, C#, MVC, AngularJS and TFS skills a MUST
  • Understanding of server design patterns and best practices
  • Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, system and product testing
  • Should have worked in one or two good projects which involve ASP.Net & SQL Server.
  • Good understanding of IIS webserver, configuration and website setup with troubleshooting experience, editing the IIS configuration files.
  • Knowledge of load & performance testing
  • SQL and database design
  • Experience with version control and code reviews
  • Experience working with Webform
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar software
  • Have worked on accounting and payroll software an asset
  • Knowledge of ERP systems an asset

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • At a minimum holds a College degree in Computer Science, or a related field of study, with at least 2-3 years of application support experience
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SCRUM or Agile: 5 years(Required)
  • TFS: 5 years (Required)
  • IIS required azure knowledge a plus: 1 year (Required)
  • Must have strong verbal and written English skills (Customers mostly located in the US and Canada)

    Knowledge of ERP software, Payroll and Accounting software
