Job Summary What you bring in: 3-4 years of experience Experience with Issue & Project Tracking Software - JIRA Experience in tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, Firebase, crashlytics, or similar. Experience in primarily on mobile testing(Android, Automation) with web testing as a plus Knowledge of ADB Commands Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality mobile application releases. Ensure automation coverage and scalability. Performance Testing: Execute performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance, mainly for Mobile applications. Experience in testing in a medium or large-scale agile software development environment Strong technical and troubleshooting skills Programming experience to be able to identify causes of problems in the code base and communicate efficiently with developers Proven experience in automating tests for Android applications using tools like Appium with Java, Maven, and TestNG. Basic SQL knowledge Familiarity with mobile testing across different Android devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions. The impact you will create: Develop test strategies for user stories Create and document test cases and product flow Solid coding skills in programming languages for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. Identify test activities and test dependencies that span across the backend and frontend domain to ensure the end-to-end quality. Coordinate/coach the developer s participation in the team's test activities. Be the gatekeeper for all team deliverables agreed quality levels to ensure that acceptance criteria and definition of done are met before a task is closed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins, enabling continuous testing. It would be great if you also have: Exposure to mobile performance testing tools like JMeter or Google s Firebase Performance Monitoring to identify performance bottlenecks. Experience in querying databases and verifying backend data using SQL or similar query languages. Experience using Android profiling tools such as Android Profiler, Systrace or any other tools to identify performance issues. Understanding app distribution processes via Google Play Store, Firebase remote config or similar platforms for beta testing and release management. Basic understanding of testing apps that use machine learning models for tasks such as message classification or recommendation systems.
