Quality Assurance - Lead Job in Tricog Health Pte Ltd

Tricog is looking for a Quality Assurance Head to drive the quality of its products. The candidate is expected to take strong ownership work closely with the product, development team, and customers.

They will also be responsible for driving certification efforts across the products like CE, FDA, and adhere to ISO 13485 standards.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must be self-driven, opinionated, and passionate about achieving bulletproof quality. This role requires the candidate to be hands-on with all aspects of the product and technology.

The candidate MUST have excellent written communication skills as it will require a lot of overseeing documentation. They must have experience in managing teams, both internal and external.

*Responsibilities:- *

QA Strategy - Work with the development and product teams to conceptualize out and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for the products. Identify correct components for unit testing versus automated testing vs manual testing. Negotiate and layout testing responsibilities across development and testing teams.

Benchmarks and Certifications - Drive metric oriented processes to execute on QA strategy. Drive certification efforts as applicable for ISO, FDA, CE, etc. This will require understanding the requirements and standards in detail. The candidate will need to study, understand, and implement. They should not be dependent on any other experts. They will be provided formal training as required.

Test Frameworks and Tools - Have excellent architectural and design knowledge of automation tools. Need to be able to decide and pick the appropriate level of automation and toolset required. Develop testing frameworks and tools with help from the software teams.

Release management - Work closely with Product and development teams to plan releases and identify risks. Create and execute test plans associated with each release. Stand firm and push back on poor quality releases.

QA Team - Plan, recruit, train, and manage the test team. Work with external outsourcing vendors to scale capacity. Create the processes and setup tools for bug tracking etc. Be a mentor to the team and help them skill up.

Bug Hunting - Lead the effort to track down and hunt each bug in the system. Identify the bug through whatever means. Dig deeper into the origin of the bug and fix root causes.

Experience and Skills

• 6-10 years of experience doing and leading testing.
• Experience in Quality-oriented reputed product companies with formal processes.
• Certification experience with FDA / CE is highly desirable.
• Should have strong conceptual knowledge of Quality Assurance and processes.
• Must have leadership qualities to mentor and work with Top Management.
