Web Engineer (wordpress Frontend) Job in Travelopia

Seeking expert WordPress Frontend Engineer with the specified skills with consistent record. Excellent opportunity for growth. Will be responsible for designing and implementing websites for companies using the WordPress creation tool. The goal is to build attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications. You should have expertise in WordPress, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content leadership skills. What you will be doing: Writing clean, well-documented, and well-tested code with strong consistency to modern ES6 standards and best coding practices. Inculcate standard methodologies to build clean and reusable code for scaling in the future and improve the existing codebase. Develop the most effective technical solutions in WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements. Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements. Work closely with the architect, developers, and testers to ship new components and features. Work with different teams and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. What we are looking for: Technical skills Consistent record in Frontend Development. Experience building enterprise-grade web applications in an AGILE environment. Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN. Should have excellent knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript ES6+ HTML5, and jQuery. Experience with Webpack, React, SCSS, Custom Properties, and Web Components. Working experience in WordPress Theme Development using PHP is a plus. Knowledge of WordPress Gutenberg Block Development using React is added advantage. Optimization of Core Web, SEO, and structured data. Good to have experience with a framework like Tailwind CSS, Assistive Technologies / Accessibility, and HTML Email Development. Minimum education Bachelor's degree with relevant years of experience. Any relevant certification focused on continual improvement will be recognized.
