Trantor is looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our Development teams to build solutions that will help us deliver an industry-leading strategic business product to our customers. What Youll Do

• Work on Initiatives to deliver major product features in a highly-scalable search environment based on ElasticSearch.
• Contribute to product direction in design discussions.
• Collaborate with the team to build upon and improve the search architecture.
• Peer Review the development of queries and processors written to deal with large amounts of data.
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with product management, DevOps, backend, and front-end engineers to deliver the right solution.
• Support existing production code and improve performance and customer experience.

What Youll Bring

• Expertise in building a high-performance scalable and reliable system solution to process, store and query large amounts of data using ElasticSearch
• Good knowledge of ElasticSearch features for Scalability, Data Management & Architecture, Security, APIs & Integration etc.
• Experience in writing complex queries and handling data structures that deals with a large amount of data
• 4+ years building high performing/data-intensive applications running in the cloud.
• 5+ years of experience developing server-side applications.
• Improving performance, scalability, and reliability of systems

Experience with:

• Java Spring , Springboot & Microservices, Restful APIs
• Elasticsearch
• Log Stash and Kibana is preferred
• Dockers
• Kubernetes is preferred
• CI/CD pipelines
• Scaling enterprise applications in the cloud
• Agile Software Development
• Git
