Skills:
5+ years of experience working as a Backend Engineer using NodeJS, ExpressJS and/or Typescript extensions
Hands-on experience with relational databases like Postgres
Must have experience with REST APIs or GraphQL
Experience building / consuming OpenAPI and GraphQL specifications
Must have experience working on AWS and Docker
Must possess good knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD
Should have experience in building microservices systems and testing them
Must have in-depth knowledge of system design and optimization
Experience with Scala/Kotlin/Java/Golang will be a plus
Experience with BDD (behavior driven development) will be an added advantage
Must have experience working in a Global distributed team environment like Europe, US and Asia
Must possess the ability to think critically and holistically
Responsibilities:
Create REST/GraphQL based web services and APIs for consumption by mobile and web for distributed B2B platform
Code, test and operate NodeJS based services
Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers
Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performance code base.
