Roles and Responsibilities

• Should also able to set up, maintain and operate multiple test automation frameworks
• Should be able to perform Test Automation across multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile and Desktop
• Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components
• Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Investigate customer problems referred by the technical support team
• Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team
• Handle technical communications to understand client systems or APIs.
• Work with deployments teams and resolve issues
• Research/Mine test tools, methodologies and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes
• Possess strong understanding of 360-degree view of QA covering Core testing / Digital testing / Specialised testing / Test Consulting
• Develop reusable components which can be used across different projects
• Possess sound understanding of CI & CD integration
• Should be capable of upgrading skills with changing trends
• Help the QA to achieve targets based on the QA strategy, approach, and execution in development projects.

Skills

Skillsets we are looking for:

• Deep experience with Automation frameworks
• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools
• Exposure to Behaviour Driven Development and Acceptance Test Driven Development
• Ability to recognize risks and errors in an application
• Good designing and programming skills on C/C++/Python is advantage
• Hands on firmware development with different controllers and application processors is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry
• A passion for testing, development and design
• Hands on experience in open source tools such as Selenium Web Driver, TestNG, JUnit/Mockito, Maven and Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment and test automation
• Strong exposure to API/Microservices testing tools such as Postman, RESTAssured etc
• Strong exposure to Database concepts, Data migration etc
• Nice to have good knowledge on Security testing and tools
