Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark to process large datasets.
  • Data Storage and Management: Architect and manage data storage solutions on AWS S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Serverless Computing: Build and deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda for event-driven data processing.
  • Data Integration and Transformation: Integrate and process structured and unstructured data from various sources, transforming it into actionable insights.
  • Data Security and Monitoring: Implement robust security measures using AWS IAM and monitor system health with AWS CloudWatch.
  • Collaboration and Optimization: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and continuously optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Data Engineering Experience: 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to solve complex data problems and analyze large datasets.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
