Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with QA Automation usingSelenium / Java Web Automation Testing, APIs, Message Queues, DBs

Ability to understand the Application and document TestScenarios for Automation ensuring proper coverage

Very Good Knowledge on Automation Scripting using Seleniumand Java

Proficient in using open source test automation tools likeSelenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, TestNG and Cucumber

Experience in Rest web services & API Test Automation

Proficient in SQL Queries and ability to work with Databases

Ability to quickly understand the BNY Mellon internalframeworks used for Automation

Estimate the effort involved in Automating the identifiedTest Scenarios

Automate and Script the identified Test Scenarios using BNYMellon internal tools and framework

Ensure Source Code is maintained in a proper VersionControlled Environment

Ability to Identify and Resolve any issues related to Automation/ Scripting to ensure completion of efforts as per Schedule

Ensure that proper testing is done on Automated Scripts andall issues identified with scripts during dry run are identified and tracked toclosure

Create Clear Documentation and User Guide for the differentAutomation that is created

Provide Training to End Users on how to execute theAutomation Suite

Ensure that any issues identified with the scripts duringexecution by the end users are fixed and tracked to closure within thestipulated SLA

Ensure Proper KT is provided to identified resources on theDeveloped Source Code and Script Maintenance activity once the Scripting iscompleted

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
