Job Summary

Profile:

You're highly energetic, looking to innovate and want to make an impact. Your work will have a direct impact on 5 million+ users, many of whom will use their Android phones exclusively for interacting with our services. Your role will be to lead the entire Android Team of 10 Android Developers which is incharge of maintaining the existing applications and developing new features. Your responsibilities will include architecting new modules, setting and driving coding standards and adopting new methodologies in Android Development.

Desired Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in the Android ecosystem with very strong hold on Kotlin, MVVM.
  • You have directly or indirectly managed and mentored a team of Android developers and driven code reviews
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK and Android architecture
  • Strong OOPs fundamentals, Java, XML, JSON, Web Services, Live Data, SQLite databases, Room, Android X, Dagger, Rx
  • Proficient with developing optimized UI for different android versions and devices
  • Experience with test driven development, qa automation
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Knowledge of server-side technology to architect applications or data to build scalable, high-performing technology solutions
  • Managing cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and launch new features

Bonus:

  • You have built a large scale Android App from scratch
  • You have experience writing unit tests
  • You have some experience with RESTful API development, mongodb, golang
  • You have worked at a startup before and know that you are in for an exciting ride
  • Exoplayer and Video Streaming Experience on Android
  • You can join immediately or within a month
