Job Summary Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Environmental Analyst to join our team. As an Environmental Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing environmental data, conducting research, and helping to develop strategies for sustainability and environmental compliance. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our projects meet environmental regulations and contribute to the protection of natural resources. Key Responsibilities: Environmental Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data related to air, water, soil, waste management, and other environmental factors. Prepare reports based on findings. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards. Assist in preparing documents and reports for government agencies and regulatory bodies. Impact Assessments: Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for projects, analyzing potential effects on ecosystems, human health, and local communities. Sustainability Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and practices, focusing on reducing environmental footprints and promoting resource conservation. Environmental Audits: Conduct environmental audits and inspections to assess operational impacts and identify areas for improvement. Research and Reporting: Conduct research on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulations. Produce reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide environmental expertise during project planning, development, and execution. Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and manage systems for continuous monitoring of environmental conditions. Track and report on performance related to sustainability goals. Education and Training: Assist in educating employees and stakeholders about environmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in environmental analysis, environmental science, or a related field. Educational Background: A bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A master s degree is a plus. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex environmental data and present findings clearly and concisely. Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with environmental regulations, such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and other federal and state environmental laws. Research Skills: Experience conducting environmental research and preparing technical reports. Software Proficiency: Proficiency with environmental analysis software, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in environmental analysis and reporting. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify environmental challenges and propose actionable solutions. Preferred Skills: Field Experience: Experience with field data collection and environmental sampling techniques. Sustainability Expertise: Knowledge of green building practices, renewable energy solutions, and environmental sustainability trends. Certifications: Professional certifications, such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), LEED, or others, are a plus.
