Job Description This is a great opportunity to work for a global company in an innovative Test and Measurement organization with in-house product design and manufacturing. This role is within the Algorithms Group which has been responsible for exploring, investigating, defining and leading the future products and technologies of the company for most of the wireless systems from WLAN (802.11ac/ad), GSM, WCDMA, HSPA+, LTE/LTE-A through to 5G technologies. The Algorithms Group is an integral part of all Indian Engineering programmers, working closely with all other functional groups including RF, DSP, VHDL, SW, higher layer and test groups and interfaces directly with the wireless business unit filtering and analysing marketing and customer technical requirements. The Algorithms Group is an excellent group for training and establishing multi-discipline engineers with strong technical skills and business knowledge. Mendatory Skills:

• C programming for embedded systems
• Significant experience in wireless communications, ideally including some experience working with GSM, UMTS or LTE wireless standards.
• Detailed understanding of a variety of cellular air-interfaces (For example GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WiMax, WCDMA, LTE, etc.)
• Product development experience with a major Network or Ue vendor company (e.g. Nokia, Siemens, NEC, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Alcatel, Motorola, Ericsson etc.).
• Experience with GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/LTE physical layer algorithm programming (for both the control and data path) in both C and DSP assembly code.
• Understanding of the interface between a protocol stack and the physical layer.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
• Good communication and organisation skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritisation skills.
• Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

• Graphics, image or video processing background.
