KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTemenos Cloud is a Fintech firm, providingbanking software as a Service (SaaS) to clients in the financial servicesindustry. We are looking to fill the role of a Sr. Cloud Security Consultant /Architect to join our central security team in India, but the scope of thesecurity function is global regardless of the location of the post holder.
The candidate will have a broad experience across all Cyber Security domainsand must have a technical background. They would work closely with regionalsecurity, security operations and information technology teams.
The candidate for this role will have a passion for securing innovativeproducts and communicating to different stakeholders the effectiveness of thesecurity controls in place.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the Temenos Cloud Global Security Team, contributing to the day-to-day business support activities for implementation of cloud security controls for MS Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
- Work collaboratively with other teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate vulnerabilities in their systems;
- Provide input/recommendations into the improvement of Security Standards;
- Report and drive key performance indicators for vulnerability remediation activities;
- Lead and own security input to solution designs and the engagement of Security teams;
- Provide technical subject matter expertise for the secure configuration of systems;
- Ad-hoc and continuous review of security controls to ensure their effectiveness;
- Support various internal and external audits and compliance certification initiatives;
- Liaise and engage with Clients and Prospects to respond to queries regarding Temenos security controls;
- Create and maintain documentation for new and existing processes and controls using Atlassian Confluence;
- Perform analysis of log files and data outputs and perform triage of incoming issues using a ticketing & tracking system (Jira Service Desk);
- Provide tuning recommendations of security tools based on the analysis of empirical data;
- Produce and review daily and weekly metrics for security controls activities.
- Define new security controls, perform security gap assessment, reviews, sign-off, and evidences.
- Provide security advisory on remediation activities.
- SOC handshake and process mappings.
- Understand system security vulnerabilities and associated threats, and assess the overall security risks to the system
- BTech/BE/MCA candidates with 6 to 8 yrs experience.
- Significant knowledge & experience of Application security, Open standards, Networking technologies, Virtualisation, Web Application Firewalls, Encryption, IDAM (Identity and Access Management), authentication systems, secure storage, resilience technologies, Privilege identity & Access management (PIM/PAM), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), Containers;
- Participate in cloud security architecture reviews; process definition
- Experience evaluating or creating new technologies and services in order to solve complex security issues
- Hands on experience with Windows Server; Linux would be a plus;
- Experience building, maintaining and influencing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently, but collaborate with teams regularly;
- Stay up-to-date with trends in the information security community including new vulnerabilities, methodologies, and products;
- Hands on experience in any scripting tools including PowerShell, Azure ClI, shell scripts;
- Ability to guide product engineering teams to adopt security standards directly in our software and development lifecycle;
- Automate the security workflows;
- Willingness to learn new cloud security concepts.
- Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate suitability through a mixture of experience and certifications, although none are essential, some suggestions are Azure, AWS or GCP.
