Senior Design Engineer Job in Tekman India Private Ltd.

Job Description:

Designing & Detailed Engineering:- Contributing towards developing high quality & cost effective designs with detailed engineering for:

• a) Customized Vacuum Pumping Systems.
• b) Defined Standard Vacuum Pumping Systems.

2. Pre and Post Sales Activities:-

• a) Studying the specification given by customer for feasibility and impact on pricing.
• b) Providing pricing and estimation for offers.
• c) Preparing documents for customer approval, responding to customer comments and ensuring approval of docs on time.

3. Documentation & Control:- Monitoring & controlling the established system subsequently.

4. Vendor Evaluation:- Technical evaluation of vendors & components to be procured.

5. Cross functional Co-ordination:-

• a) Helping the production team for integration related trouble shooting.
• b) Providing support to service team for warranty issues related to design deficiencies.

6. Customer Delight:- Aim to provide world class product experience and low warranty support requirement for the customers

7. Team Management:-

• a) Deriving desired output & ensuring productivity of team.
• b) Focusing on their training needs learning & growth perspective.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Skills and Knowledge:-

• a) Design and Engineering of large automated special purpose system.
• b) Knowledge of automation, Pneumatics, Hydraulics system and Fabrication for auto ancillary.
• c) Knowledge of engineering software's such as Solidworks (must), ProE, Ansys, etc.
• d) Experience in developing tooling, fixtures for Poka-Yoke mechanism would be an advantage.
• e) Exposure on simple robotics would be an added advantage

2. Preferred Industry:-

• a) Candidate must have experience in manufacturing Process Automation System
• b) Candidates from special purpose machine building for Auto/Auto Ancillary Industry/ RAC Highly preferred Packaging systems, and material handling systems.
