- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Record and classify financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage accounts receivable. Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Expense Management:
- Track and report on company expenses.
- Verify expense reports submitted by employees and ensure compliance with company policies. Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports and provide data for management decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and report on budget variances. Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Auditing:
- Support external auditors during financial audits.
- Address audit queries and implement audit recommendations. Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic financial decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Vendor and Client Relations:
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients in financial matters.
- Address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
