Role Summary:

Lead and drive the development in BI domain with deep technical and BI ecosystem knowledge. The resource will be responsible for the dashboard design, development, and delivery of BI services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience of 7+ years in data preparation, data gateway, data warehousing projects to understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• 4+ years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI.
• Experience in Power BI modeling / Architecture and Azure SQL, Exposure to Microsoft Azure Data Platform.
• Proficient in making DAX queries on the Power BI desktop.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the dataset.
• Good knowledge of the entire application lifecycle and DevOps processes is required.
• Sound knowledge of database management, SQL querying, data modeling, data warehousing, business intelligence, and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing).
• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure SQL.
• Extensive experience working with an onsite/offshore/nearshore model with a distributed team using a distributed Agile process.
• Communication Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative insights and reports.

Academics:

• Bachelor s degree preferable in Computer science.
• Master s degree would have.

Technology & Skills:

• Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Responsible for developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Responsible to understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• To implement row-level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Providing Presales support and provide effort estimate or review of estimates for SOW/RFP including cost.
• Administration Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Developing reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
