Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of customer projects. The role demands the ability to effectively manage people, processes, and projects while ensuring customer satisfaction, excellence in delivery, and adherence to timelines, costs, and quality standards. The Project Manager will drive execution, lead the project lifecycle from strategy to tactical activities, and maintain strong customer connections through effective communication and team engagement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Ensure high customer connect for each project, establishing strong relationships with the customer. Build processes to engage all relevant team members with the customer at key stages of the project. Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback, conducting Project Satisfaction Reports, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to assess the project s success. 2. Project Planning & Execution: Ensure completion and delivery of the Project Plan, overseeing its execution and control. Lead the execution of the project roadmap, managing all tactical activities to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon quality standards. Govern the project lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and internal processes. 3. Project Governance & Quality Control: Define and implement quality planning methodologies, including setting quality standards, criteria, and measurement processes. Conduct audits and project process monitoring to ensure compliance with defined standards. Oversee regular steering committee meetings with customers to review project progress and resolve issues. 4. Team Management & Development: Lead, motivate, and coach the project team to build the necessary functional skills and foster desired behaviors for delivering project outcomes. Ensure high levels of engagement within the team and ensure alignment with the project goals. Provide technical guidance and performance assessments to team members, helping them develop professionally and manage their tasks effectively. 5. Risk & Issue Management: Manage complex scenarios such as business risks, multiple vendor issues, code red situations, and customer expectations, ensuring that they are handled professionally and without impacting team members adversely. Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies for their mitigation. 6. Financial Management & Reporting: Review project profitability and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular status reports to both the management team and the customer. Ensure project financials are maintained and aligned with the agreed budgets, highlighting any variances and taking corrective actions as needed. 7. Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain project-level documentation, including presentations, demonstration materials, and other tools to ensure that solutions are easy to manage and repeatable. Ensure that relevant project dashboards are created and maintained to enable effective project management and visibility. 8. Collaboration & Communication: Articulate and explain project designs, constraints, and progress to stakeholders by understanding the customer s perspective and ensuring alignment. Ensure clear and transparent communication with both the internal team and customers at all stages of the project. 9. Methodology & Process Improvement: Determine and implement appropriate methodologies and processes for project delivery, ensuring they align with industry best practices and internal tools. Sensitize the team to continuously look for ways to provide greater value to the customer, focusing on ongoing improvements beyond the immediate deliverables. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management with a strong background in managing complex customer-facing projects. Skills: Proven ability to manage projects across multiple vendors and complex business environments. Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including delivering presentations and managing customer expectations. Expertise in quality management processes, audits, and risk management. Ability to manage and resolve business risks, technical escalations, and customer issues effectively. Educational Qualification: Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields preferred.
