Job Role &Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer Engineer position provides technical leadership in areas of.NET web and database development. This is an excellent opportunity to join an MSGold Partner who is looking for a talented developer with a broad range of .NET andWeb experience. Experience with telecommunications software applications(BSS/OSS Business Support Systems/Operations Support Systems is beneficial butnot required.

Essential Functions :

Develop features and implement bug fixes across a range of modern .NET basedtechnologies and applications.
Work on developing UI on angular and backend code in .NET core.
Provides technical leadership and mentoring to software developers, othersoftware engineers and interns.
Design and create next generation telecom application software, as well asparticipates in ongoing sustainment of the software.
Engages with all project team members (i.e. project managers, software architects,software engineers) to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery of highquality software products and projects.
Participates in all phases of the software development process.
Works as part of a distributed international team, engaging in global support andimplementation activities.
Participate with the Product Management Team in the training, product briefs, anddeployment of new installations both internally and externally.
Take an active role in innovating how we support our clients so we can improveclient satisfaction while reducing support costs.
Help promote and drive the adoption of modern technologies and methodologies.

Ability to travel 25% by car and/or plane, may include weekend travel. Ability totravel internationally on extended assignments. Current passport and valid driver slicense required.

Education and Experience :

Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, Master s degreepreferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Experience :

4 plus Years of experience with .NET development with a focus on webtechnologies
Strong background in ASP.NET MVC in C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript JQuery a plus
Knowledge on one or all of the following software would be a plus TFS, GIT.
Strong background in applications using Bootstrap or similar web front endframework with HTML5 and CSS3.
Understanding about Design Patterns.
Proficiency with SQL Server development including the creation of tables/schema-definition, creation of views, stored procedures, functions, and the optimization ofTransact-SQL code. SSRS experience a plus but not required.
Five or more years engineering or architecting software solutions.
Fluent in the fundamentals of software engineering and application lifecyclemanagement.
Experience with Object Oriented Programming in C#, or other .NET languages
Understanding of source code control, build and deployment disciplines
Exposure to Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
Experience with WCF, REST or SOAP based services and SOA
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal will be working on ageographically diverse team.

Additional Skills Considered a Plus :

Knowledge of BSS/OSS systems, telecommunications plant and facilitiesmanagement is beneficial
Experience with MS Dynamics CRM
Familiarity with Dev Express Controls
Experience or understanding of Test Driven Development

General office environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature, but mayrequire standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment isgenerally favorable.
