Sr R&d/product Dvl Engineer Job in Te Connectivity Corporation

RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively seek out best practices both internal to TE and externally across our industry Implement improvements to engineering processes to ensure accurate/complete digital data Eliminate unnecessary process steps and reduce waste to improve engineering efficiency Creation of standards/specifications that ensure consistency across the global team Develop training material and quick-reference-guides to up-skill the engineering workforce DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred 5+ years of work experience in engineering, or in support of engineering functions Experience with engineering digital data such as, EBOMs, Compliance Coding, Export Control, etc Working knowledge of engineering systems such as CPR, PDMLink, ECLink, etc.. a plus Able to define requirements for data queries, collaborate with Data Analysts and translate output to actionable tasks Ability to effectively communicate and manage meetings with global engineering teams Demonstrated ability to lead projects efficiently and effectively Understanding of the LEANPD development process Capable of serving as an advocate for engineering when interfacing with IT, Advisory Groups, Tiger Teams, Kaizen events, etc
