Job Summary

Job Description

Good knowledge of manual testing process, STLC, SDLC, Agile Process.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Good knowledge of manual testing process, STLC, SDLC, Agile Process.
  • Strong know-how and experience in testing of BI/DW projects
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Responsible for data warehouse and report testing
  • Primary responsibilities include designing/developing test strategy and plans and executing test scripts
  • Responsible for end-end validation of large scale data systems on cloud/on-premise clusters
  • Test data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes
  • Data flow/propagation, handling and verification
  • Data analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Lead project initiatives from inception to release
  • Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced development environment
  • Test Automation knowledge and implementation is good to have

Eligibility

  • Should have a strong background in SQL
  • Reporting-Test case design, Different layers/types of testing, Data flow/propagation verification
  • Validation of computations in Map-reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark
  • Automation of ETL/data testing and Reports Validation
  • Statistical Data Analysis
  • BI Test life cycle and Process
  • Should be very good in communication
