Job Summary
  • Analyze Client Requirements
    • Collect detailed requirements from the given brief requirements & document it (if required)
    • Assess the detailed requirements & create a technical specifications document that includes the database architecture and test plans
    • Assist developers with complex query development and schema designing
  • Design & Develop Queries
    • Design queries on GCP(BigQuery)/Local platform
    • Schedule queries to run on a recurring basis in BigQuery
    • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
    • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Design & Develop Enterprise Cloud Applications/Solutions
    • Learn and use Google Cloud/ AWS products to use managed cloud services to develop and deploy enterprise data warehouse solutions on BigQuery
  • Maintain & Monitor SQL/NoSQL Servers and Data Warehouse
    • Manage SQL/NoSQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
    • Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
    • Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
  • Conduct research to answer industry and business questions
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output using various validation techniques
  • Maintain coding standards & Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Data security and Data Protection
    • Configure/set up the systems/services to maintain Cloud Servers/Warehouses securely using managed cloud security services
    • Provide limited access to users as per requirements.
