Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Customer & Process Audit

  • Customer Audits (System & Process) -Conduct pre-audits as per customer check sheet (Before customer audit) -Closure of customer audit NCR's on time - achieve customer audit score as per target.
  • Monitor Process and Quality System adherence on the shop floor
  • Identify the NC's and communicate to the respective departments and get them corrected effectively
    Improvement projects.
  • TQM -Maintaining 5S in own area -Finalising MP/CP, Follow DWM at defined frequency -Visualistion of DWM & MP/CP -VE & QAM for customer issues -achieve the TQM results & objectives.
  • Complete all the assigned projects and assignment on time IN ORDER TO improve the process
  • Customer Complaint Management & TML PCBU Quality Audit Score
  • Customer Complaint Management -Register Customer complaints -Form CFT to Analyze and initiate corrective and preventive Actions -Initiate process audits & mistake proofing methods -Maintain effective Customer Relationship Management -Control customer returns (Rejects)
  • Help in completing the audit related documents.
  • Ensure that the process is followed correctly on line. IN ORDER TO improve the Quality
  • Scrap due to production process
  • By helping in reducing the % of rework and Scrap % on line
  • IN ORDER TO limit in process rejections Help in reducing the % of rework and Scrap % on line
  • Monitoring Rework & Rejection
  • Help in reducing the % of rework and Scrap % on line IN ORDER TO limit in process rejections
  • Internal process - Daily Monitoring of rejection & Its analysis & take action plan- Inspection on the shop floor for all the lines - Training to operators and generating awareness among them - Participating in the Quality Circle for improvements & to reduce re-work rejections - Conducting a manufacturing process audit for process adherence & improvements

Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation

  • Maintain Quality Management System in line with IATF standard and internal processes.
  • Initiate and monitor Internal Audit Program and supervise periodic Internal Audits.
  • Identify the non-conformance and communicate to the concerned department.
  • If the customer/ system audit score is less, prepare an action plan and implement it
  • Review audit findings with top management & supervise
  • implementation of corrective action plan for all NC's in specified timelines
  • Conduct continuous review of procedures , manuals & policies as & when required.
  • Development of QMS certifying TTR satellite plants as per IATF & QMS
  • Training all employees on QMS & customer requirements
  • IN ORDER TO maintain compliance to customer product specifications and to review plan performance.
  • Supplier Assesment & Approval
  • Participate in supplier selection for new products as CFT member -Identifiy the risk related to Quality for new supplier & ensure risk mitigation in cases High Risk level.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.E.- Mechanical Engineering -6 to 10 Years of experience out of which 4 years of experience should be from Customer Quality

Qualification :
B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical,Diploma in Mechanical
Experience Required :

6 to 10 Years
