Job Summary

University degree (B.Tech./MCA) in computer science or computer application.
5+ years of proven experience administering on-premises and cloud-based database solutions in Microsoft Azure.
In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server, Azure SQL Database and other relevant Azure data services.
Proficiency in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting performance issues in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Strong understanding of database security principles and data protection techniques for on-premises and cloud deployments.
Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup strategies for on-premises and cloud-based databases.
Monitor database activity and usage and allocate necessary resources to function optimally.
Data warehouse concepts (Implementation of ETL pipelines, data integration components)
Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule to support/maintenance of the SQL Environment whenever required (i.e. system implementations and maintenance may be performed in off hours).
Adhere to timelines and quality of the assigned task.
Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments.
Must have excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Must have the ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
