Job Summary

Job Description: In the Solutions Development Team each of our developers work within a small squad with a set of ServiceNow platform responsibilities. You will mainly work within the Delivery phase of our processes and will be responsible for ensuring that the tasks in the backlog are delivered to quality and time. Each developer will be expected to actively take part in the agile ceremonies to ensure the squad are working on the right activities based on priority and value. You will also be required to support Business Analyst (BA) and Product Owner (PO) on technical aspects of delivery. Responsibilities: Work closely with the rest of your squad to understand your stakeholders requirements and deliver quality solutions that meet agreed criteria and are within platform principles and governance. Alongside the PO, BA and squad understand, analyse and implement changes in ServiceNow Platform. Assist the PO and BA to convert business requirements into technical solutions as required. Ensure solution designs are documented clearly and that any compliance requirements are met i.e. Cyber/security assessments. Drive the continuous improvements of the implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences, work with the other developers on specific projects, and improvements. Support the whole team on process enhancements and improvements in working practices. Maintain up to date knowledge on the ServiceNow platform and offer suggestions on how to add value with new features and functionality. Primary Skills: 3-8 years of relevant experience as ServiceNow administrator and developer. Must have minimum 5 Years of work experience in GRC, AVR, HRSD, ITSM mainly. Must have worked extensively on the ServiceNow platform as an administrator / developer and implemented changes requested by clients as part of the implementation Team in Agile setup. Experience in designing, implementing, testing and deploying various ServiceNow solutions and modules like ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM and custom applications using AppEngine, ServiceNow reporting module/Performance Analytics. Experience of using Record producers to create Incident and Problem tickets. Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow including Workflows, Service Catalog, UI, Client scripts, Business rules, UI Actions, Script Includes etc. Hands-on experience with UI Actions, UI Policy, Access Control Lists etc. Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, Jelly, HTML/CSS, XML, AJAX, GlideRecord. Integrating ServiceNow with other Applications using Web-Services APIs e.g., SOAP, REST, JSON etc. Good written and verbal communication skills.
