Roles and Responsibilities

TheInfra/Security/DevOps Architectis responsible forIndustrial Cloud-Infra design, end to end DevOpsincluding Source Code Repository strategy ,Infrastructure as a Code, CI/CD pipeline ,release management ,Security Policies ,Operations governance and best practices. This requires engaging successfully with platform Architect ,product owner and agile project manager to facilitate infra and DevOps provisioning for upcoming releases. The Infra & DevOps Architect is a seasoned professional who is thoroughly hands-on GCP cloud infrastructure and DevOps Technology stack and should be able seamlessly navigate team of infra/ devops engineers and operations team members to run Industrial Cloud platform. He will never hesitate to roll-up sleeves to script/code him self to lead the path. He will have world class opportunity to build world class product and solution on Cloud platform for Industrial Cloud IIoT platform delivering multi-business domain value.

Responsibilities

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

Participate in envisioning of next gen plans to achieve longer term strategic objectives of the organization.

Evaluate new technologies stack and help Architects make best choices

Build flexible and scalable Infra designs

Provide DevOps strategy and roadmap for Platform IaC/CI/CD/Release planning

Operational Responsibilities

Collaborate with Platform ,Application and Data Architect to design required infra and supporting DevOps

Define administrative governance and processes for operating Infra

Collaborate with architect and prepare details technical design documents

Ensure end to end architecture guidelines are followed though out software delivery life cycle

Delivering tasks to meet the product release go a land time lines in fast paced high pressure environment

Guide team of developers and solve technical challenges faced by team

Hands-on with excellent coding skills and can write code to lead team

Ensure seamless and fast release cycle without breaking existing platform

Stakeholder Management

Partner with scrum master and program manager for timely delivery

Partner with Architect to ensure alignments with guiding principle

People Management

Lead and mentor team of platform engineers and sr. Platform engineers

Lead Devops team

Lead Operations/Administration team

Ideally, you should have

At least 12+years ofInfraexperience including hand-on experience on GCP Infra/Security stack

Certified GCP Architect and/or developer within-depth knowledge

Experience with Ansible ,Terraform ,CI/CD pipelines

Experience working with Cloud security ,policies ,Load balances ,WAF/DDos Protection

Experience working with DNS, VPC, Subnet, IAM (Identity & Access Management),Key Vault

Experience working on cloud Logging and Monitoring

Experience in working on Linux/Unix and Windows, NGINX -container with docker Image

Experience in deploying Microservices and docker images to run on Kubernetes cluster

Experience working on various data base such as Big Query/ Cloud SQL

Experience troubleshooting cloud infra in-case of any outage

Experience designing data back-up /restore and DR

Experience on agile project management methodologies and tools - Jira, Confluence, Git/Bit Bucket etc.
