Roles and Responsibilities

  • ORGANISATION

A 30 year old and a leading manufacturer, trader and wholesaler in India, specialized in garments and accessories.
  • ROLE

The Head Operations is a senior position in the company, hence demands able person who have handled operations worth 100 Crore in excess through various manufacturing setup. Strong understanding on the trends in making of fabric and must have capability in suggesting improvement in quality / making of apparel and cut short wastage. Must be presently at a leadership position and have the ability to lead a sizeable team empowering them to deliver consistently. A clothing background experience is a must. Handle PAN INDIA operations.
  • Responsible for entire operations activities in the production unit.
  • Must coordinate with all third-party vendors ensuring timely delivery of goods
  • Must be exposed to have written SOP / SLA and worked on various process of improvement in efficiency
  • Should have knowledge of the challenges faced in a production unit and address the same proactively
  • Should be able to independently define the entire cycle of Purchase to manufacturing to sales.
  • Inter departmental coordination process for speedy and timely delivery of material.
  • Rather than an executor, he must have the ability to get the things done from his team members.
  • Must possess leadership qualities and should be able to nurture team building / bonding.
  • Exposure to MIS and data analysis is a MUST.
  • Should be able to support the CEO in planning production and ensure merchandise is made available for timely sale.
  • Recommend new and improved measures for performance evaluations
  • Monitoring teams performance and motivating them to reach garment production targets

    • CANDIDATE

  • 15-18 years experience in handling production in a Clothing /Garment Manufacturing company
  • Currently working as Head of Production in a Garment Mfg company
  • Should have clear cut understanding of the challenges and must possess ability to address them effectively
  • Must have good knowledge of the clothing market / material / fabric etc.
  • Experience in handling Vendors
  • Experience in Quality and Cost control
  • Should have handled a business more than 100 crore annually
  • Strong in reporting and MIS a must.
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written in all the three languages Hindi / English & Telugu.

    • SALARY : 10-12 Lacs PA
