Responsibilities:
Software Quality Assurance Testing - including verification of functionality and validation of requirements.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodologies, Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
System, Integration, Regression and Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Web Application testing, Database testing, Test Plan Creation, Test case execution, Defect management, Execution of the Automation test tool.
API Testing using Rest Assured, Postman Client etc
Exposure to Automate test scripts for Restful Web Services using Apache Http Client, Rest Assured.
Basic to advanced experience in SQL
Plus if able to run a Performance testing tool using Jmeter / Loadrunner to capture the result & publish the same.
Communicate cross-functionally throughout the engineering organization.
Continuously monitor and boost test coverage across the product.
Requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications
Responsible for Functional testing of Mobile applications
Understand the different types of mobile apps (native, Hybrid, web) and also different devices (iPhone, Android, Windows) from user perspective
Ability to troubleshoot Crash logs from Crashlytics
Profond Knowledge on Mobile standards for Testing
Basic Knowledge on API(SOAP and REST).
Ability to understand the API responses and analyse the status code for errors.
Ability to Understand the Mobile Application testing challenges
Knowledge on Upgradation and Interruption testing
Knowledge on UX/UI Validations
Knowledge on Configuration Management
Actively participate and contribute as a QA team member in full product life cycle process in agile environment
Work in a fast paced, multi team and multi project environment
Design test cases from stories/requirements that covers all the basic, alternate and exception scenarios to deliver high quality product
Identify test gaps and opportunities to expand our test case coverage utilizing prior Quality and Testing experience.
Update test execution status according to agreed-upon processes as part of regularly scheduled test status updates.
Investigate and proactively pursue testing issues, log defects, and verify bug fixes
Knowledge on Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required
Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external partners
Must be able to act as a team player as well as work independently.
