Job Summary

Job Description

As Hybris Developer, you will develop the software for our customer facing websites, web APIs, back office services and support web optimisation for the cloud based development. You will be developing against a product backlog of web team and support all essential CI/CD activities to deploy and release the software. Your day to day job role will included assisting software design and implementing new functionalities based on the defined business priority. As an experienced developer you will also be part of introducing new Hybris functionalities and module to enhance the business capabilities and also technical frameworks. You will be working closely with our other developers, offshore team, testers, product owners, scrum masters and delivery managers. You will also be part of other web development in Java/ J2EE technologies including web APIs and other service & framework enhancements. You will also be part of the innovation activities essential for developing the new skills & technologies.

Requirements

Foundation

JDBC Spring Framework a. MVC, Spring Boot, DAO support, JDBC, ORM, Marshalling XML, JMS, REST
RDBMS Any of Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
Hybris Platform fundamentals
a. High-Level directory structure in Hybris, Recipes
b. Module, Extension and AddOn concepts
c. Basic Configurations (various types of properties files)
d. Hybris Administrative Console and common operations using it
e. Cron Jobs, Impex scripts, Event system, Process engine
f. Logging & Debugging
g. User Rights
Experience in Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe)

Must Have
6+ years of overall experience with at least 3 years of relevant Hybris experience

a. Data Modeling (basic structure of an items.xml, deployment table, persistence type, inheritance, relation vs. collectiontype, itemtypes: Item and GenericItem)
b. Product Modeling, Classification, Product Variants, Configurable Products
c. Service layer
d. Model Lifecycle

f. Multitenancy and JUnit Tenant
g. WCMS, CMS Model
h. Caching
i. Catalog, Catalog Version, Catalog Synchronization
