Job Description

As a Full Stack developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team and together with your team you will own the software products from conception to operation, supporting them and their stakeholders in building great technology. Being an enthusiast, an expert practitioner and thought leader in software engineering and software craftsmanship. Thanks to your excellent collaboration skills you will support your team, or teams, in delivering the best answers to our customers needs and in taking over full responsibility for its applications, from design to operation. With your outstanding skillset for understanding, investigating and solving problems you take full ownership of complex topics or multi-faceted initiatives and outcomes spanning across the domain. You work in a cloud environment, especially AWS, developing resilient and high-performing cloud-native applications. You have a deep understanding of the AWS toolbox, leveraging AWS services and cloud design patterns in a micro-service and micro-frontend landscape. You tackle the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying software and contribute to increasing automation. You love to work in an international, multi-cultural team. You challenge constructively and have high expectations of yourself and others. You always drive for technical excellence, ownership and self-organisation at team and personal level. You love to learn and acquire new skills and put significant effort into keeping up to date with latest developments in your focus areas

Requirements

Foundation
Experience in Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe)
Comfortable around both Team player with a knack for visual design and utility
Work with development teams and product owners to ideate software solutions
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning applications
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Use industry best practices of development processes & tools, adopt and improve them

Must Have

 Full stack developer with 8+ years of experience
Relevant 3 4 years of experience on front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
Experience on
a. JavaScript language (e.g. ES6/7/8/next, Typescript) as well as its ecosystem and tooling
b. Any two recent JavaScript frameworks
c. HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, as well as general understanding of UI design
d. NodeJS or Go or Java, and their respective ecosystems
e. Implementing resource-oriented APIs and event-based architectures
f. CI/CD (preferably Gitlab CI), cloud architecture/design, tools and services on AWS
g. OOP, Design Patterns and Development principles
Perform technical assessment of UI mock-ups/wireframes to ensure the possibility of their implementation within reasonable time frame
Create and review software feature design documents and provide the solution

Good to have

Prior Hybris & React experience
Programming expertise in using Python
Worked on Large-scale, multiyear project
Techno functional knowledge of storefront or basket ecommerce projects
Understanding of Performance, security requirements and the approaches to ensure they get addressed in Solution Designs
Track record as speaker, author and/or open-source contribution
