Job Description and Requirements

Education level required for this job is Masters Degree, although Bachelor level candidates with particularly strong industry experience will also be considered.Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience at MS level, or 7+ years at BS level.

This is a role for a CAD engineer with particular interest in Physical Design/Implementation of ASICs or SOCs, with solid experience in development or support of Physical Design flows. As with any team oriented role, great communication skills are essential for success.

You will be part of the team working on implementation of high performance IPs and related subsystems, working in the cutting edge technology and with the industry leading tool set.

Your work focus will be on setting up project space for a given technology, developing and setting up implementation flow and fine tuning the implementation tools and flows for optimal execution in terms of time, QOR and resource use. Your primary area of concern will cover flows and tools that are part of a full RTL2GDS implementation flow. You will also participate in creating and executing various tool and technology benchmarks.

Experience:

Excellent scripting (TCL, PERL or Python) and UNIX programming skills
Understanding of modern IC design concepts and flows
Knowledge of at least one leading place and route tool for digital implementation (example: ICC2)
Experience with perforce or any other version control software
Work experience with Synopsys tool suite (PT, DC, VC, Formality) highly desirable
