Synopsys High-speed SERDES layout team is looking for a highly motivated and innovative engineering intern with strong theoretical and academic background. You will be working as part of a highly experienced mixed-signal layout team and you will be responsible for designing the physical layout of custom analog and digital blocks under the guidance of experienced layout engineers. Our environment is best in class with full suite of IC design tools supplemented by custom, in-house tools supported by an experienced CAD team. The position offers an excellent opportunity

Key Qualifications
Bachelor or masters in electrical or electronics engineering derived branches like ECE, EEE or EIE and studying final year or completed in 2020.
Strong fundamentals in Electrical and electronic concepts.
Fundamentals of CMOS, Fabrication Methodology.
Scripting language(s): PERL/python/TCL
Experience with analog IC layout tools is an added advantage.
Familiarity with UNIX operating systems.
Strong desire to learn and explore new techniques.
Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
