Job purpose

To handle scale up operations at bulk scale manufacturing under GMP and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling of scale up operations at bulk scale manufacturing under GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Quick turnaround to investigate on scale up challenges.
• Hands-on experience on handling of various unit operation and associated process equipment like Reactor, Centrifuge, Drier, Nutsche filter, etc.
• Well versed on execution of clean room operations like drying, milling, sifting & finished goods packing.
• Well conversant with documents like Tech Pack, Batch manufacturing records, Equipment cleaning records, Equipment Operating Procedures, SOPs and other related GMP documents.
• Awareness on various Safety tools for chemical handling.
• Compilation of scale-up reports and data trending.
• Ability to draw P&ID / PFDs for necessary equipment train.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:

• B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

• Process understanding for scale up.
• Preparation of PFD / P&IDs, mass balance and facility evaluation for retrofitting.

Experience:

• 3-6 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

• Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
• While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
• Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
