Job Purpose
The role is in the Commercial department handling Sales Analytics & Competitive Intelligence (SACI)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales analytics
a. Devise a process for periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) reporting of relevant sales / sales activity data
b. Tracks, monitors and reports sales activities like outreach, meetings, Proposal metrics, win rates
c. Pipeline analysis and knowledge of complete sales lifecycle from lead to opportunity closure
d. Win-loss analysis
e. Prepare dashboards as required
f. Support Revenue forecasting and weekly Pipeline review meetings
g. Drive insight & predictive analytics into the collected data
h. Own the process of creating Chief Commercial officer (CCO) monthly exec review meeting deck and report to CEO
i. Handle ad-hoc data queries

2. Competitive Intelligence (CI)
a. Devise and execute on a strategy for sharing CI on the following lines
Identify
Collate
Analyze
Disseminate
Update
b. Develop framework to track and monitor competitors
c. Actively collaborate/partner with sales team by preparing competitor decks, SWOT analysis, capability benchmarking
d. Proactively track market and technology trends and share the insights with Sales, Business Unit leads and help them with their multi-year sales planning
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team

Educational Qualification:
MBA with about 10+ years of work experience with Life Sciences background preferable

Technical/functional Skills:
Work experience includes a mix of:
o Business analyst
o Consultant
o Solution design
o Sales support

Essential skills
o Strong dexterity with analytical tools
o Critical thinking ability to analyze data and draw insights
o Can own and drive projects on his own
o Ability to manage interactions with senior stakeholders both within commercial and tech (VP & SVP)
o Good communications skills written and oral
o Team management
o Analyzing data, Story boarding, conduct Knowledge sharing sessions
Tools Experienced in using Salesforce CRM, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau
Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices

Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years Pharma or CRO/CMO background may be preferred but not essential
