Job purpose
To applying chemical engineering principles towards the process and product development in the laboratory to make the process robust for scale up.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role is deputed in Technology transfer team and to work with chemists to provide inputs related to engineering aspects.
- Assist team lead in collating process engineering information across developmental projects.
- Assess the equipment suitability for scale-up batches recommendations to avoid any OOS.
- Provide investigation support towards process abnormalities and supporting troubleshooting of plant activities.
- Attending client calls and responding to the queries appropriately.
- Coordination with multiple cross functional teams for smooth execution of experiments/projects.
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry
Technical/functional Skills:
- Knowledge of applying chemical engineering principles towards the process and product development in the laboratory to make the process robust for scale up.
- Experience of monitor the scale up batch in the Manufacturing facility and provide more insight on the scale up batch challenges and troubleshooting work.
- Documentation skill - TTD, QA related documents like OOT, OOS review & closure
Experience:
- 3-6 years post qualification
Behavioral Skills:
- Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
- While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
- Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
