Job Purpose:
Purpose of the role is to be part of the solutions/applications development team for developing new software applications, data analytics solutions and automation workflows in the life sciences/healthcare domain using current technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new software solutions for drug discovery domain
Explore and use breadth of software development technologies
Implement complex algorithms and data structures
Work with large data and develop database solutions
Develop workflows and scripts for automation
Communicate with domain experts to translate requirements
Effectively communicate with team members
Mentor entry level team members
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must be B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science.

Technical/functional Skills:
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Skills
Familiarity with JAVA / C++ programming languages
Good understanding to Algorithms and data structures
Experience or understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript
Familiarity with Django, AngularJS, ReactJS, Flask, build tools, test tools
Experience with database systems mysql / postgres / nosql
Proficiency in working in Linux environment
Understanding of rest frameworks, full stack development technologies and front-end development, experience in any of these areas is advantage
Familiarity with version control systems, project management tools, agile software development
Interest in drug discovery (Chemistry and Biology) domain
Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practice

Experience:
6-9 years of industry software development experience
3+ years of strong work experience in software development cycles
2+ years of experience in Python Full Stack development

Behavioral Skills:
Candidate should have good Interpersonal skill
Candidate should have People Management skill
Candidate should have a positive attitude and should be customer centric along with being result oriented and proactive
Candidate should be ready to accept any new challenges
